After a ten years hiatus, the teaser of the first Star Wars movie has finally been released online and on iTunes. The much awaited Episode VII of the Star Wars Saga, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will open for release in a theater near you on December 18, 2015. The new information on Star Wars: The Force Awakens last week raised quite a stir. This is a perfect time to announce the new Star Wars Episode VII News on different social networking platform sites too.
“We’re very excited to share the official 2015 release date for Star Wars: Episode VII, where it will not only anchor the popular holiday film going season but also ensure our extraordinary filmmaking team has the time needed to deliver a sensational picture,” said Alan Horn, Chairman of the Walt Disney Studios.
The VII episode for Star Wars will be directed by J.J Abrams, the man behind big movies like Super 8, Mission Impossible III, Star Trek. It is being scripted by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan who’s earlier works was on the Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, J.J Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing with Tommy Harper who has done work with Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol, Jack Ryan, Star Trek into Darkness and Jason McGatlin who has done work on Tintin, War of the Worlds serving as Executive Producers. John Williams is returning as the composer Star Wars: Episode VII.
Director J.J Abrams says, “We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud.”

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Issac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker in the new film.
The return of the Star Wars will see two new fresh faces. Late last year, Lucasfim and Disney announced their hunt for young aspiring actors for roles in J.J Abrams Star Wars: Episode VII. It was an open casting call and the audition covered 11 cities across the US and the UK. Over 37,000 promising people auditioned while there were huge online applicants of about 30,000. The filmmakers are pleased to announce the two actors selected from the auditions.

Crystal Clarke studies in Glasgow, UK and is an American actress. She has an acting experience both stage and on screen. Crystal will soon be seen in her first feature, The Moon and the Sun releasing in 2015. Pip Anderson is a British actor and is an accomplished practitioner of Parkour, a training discipline that involves movement and is inspired from military form of course training. He has presented this extraordinary skill in a Spider Man advertisement for Sony.
“The Star Wars universe has always been about discovering and nurturing young talent and in casting Episode VII we wanted to remain absolutely faithful to this tradition. We are delighted that so many travelled to see us at the open casting calls and that we have been able to make Crystal and Pip a part of the film, “said producer and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy.
There was a frenzy of excitement amongst the fans when the movie trailer released. There was a series of posts and tweets that followed after. Many fans expressed enthusiasm over the movie trailer.
